Doncaster Hydrogen Hub - The Pathway to Net Zero Transport

Building on the success of the Doncaster Hydrogen Hub Stakeholder Briefing held in June, we are delighted to announce a follow up event Doncaster Hydrogen Hub – The Pathway to Net Zero Transport.

The briefing will be held on 21st November at The National College for Advanced Transport & Infrastructure in Doncaster and will present the findings from a feasibility study to establish a hydrogen refuelling hub and wider hydrogen eco-system in Doncaster. The study was carried out by Beta Technology with partners Market Infra Consulting, Cenex, Brunel University London and supported by Doncaster Council, Business Doncaster and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority. The outcome is supporting the opportunity to develop hydrogen refuelling at scale in Doncaster and to develop a road-map to implement hydrogen for transport, especially HGVs, embracing the strengths of Doncaster and its central location.

The event aims to bring together regional and national policy makers, stimulate interest from potential hydrogen infrastructure investors and implementers and engage with skills providers and potential hydrogen users e.g. haulage, refuse, bus operators.

The event runs from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm and is free of charge. Registration opens at 10.00 am and will be followed by lunch and networking.
