From connected cameras to a fully integrated, cloud-based fleet platform, Connected Vehicle Solutions (CVS) has everything your business needs to accurately manage your vehicle fleet.
Regardless of the size of business, CVS can provide a solution to help you monitor, manage, and understand your fleet and drivers, whether that is a single connected dash camera or a fully integrated, 360-degree multicamera option.
Based in Doncaster, Connected Vehicle Solutions recently celebrated its first anniversary. Founded by Jason Craven, the vision was to introduce a truly innovative approach to a saturated market. With more than 18 years’ experience in the video telematics sector, Jason has collaborated with global partners to provide advanced technology that aids fleet operators in minimising incident claims while also reducing their carbon footprint.
This invaluable experience has shaped Jason's perspective on the industry, allowing him to recognise both its strengths and weaknesses. He believed it was the right time to offer a fresh alternative, focusing on addressing the specific problems and pain points faced by companies. An approach that is long overdue in the industry.
The past year has served as a foundational period, ensuring the right solutions are in place, including innovative hardware that incorporates true machine learning AI technology. With these solutions, CVS can start delivering tangible benefits to customers, assessing what each customer currently has in place and identifying what is necessary. Newcomers to this technology often believe they need everything, which is not always the case.
Jason has also welcomed Graham Gardner to the team. With over 20 years’ experience in the fleet industry, covering sectors like incident management, risk management, telematics, and video telematics, Graham’s extensive background will further bolster the business approach and support growth.
Graham said: “Fleets have followed the same path for years with minimal disruption in the market. Businesses can be caught up in a cycle of endless contracts, fearful of the costs associated with change and its impact on operations. It is time for an innovative approach, and I was immediately attracted to what Jason and CVS is building and the benefits to the customer.”
Business Doncaster has been offering support to Jason by introducing him to various networking and supply chain opportunities, signposting to business forums where he is able to connect with other likeminded businesses, share intelligence and build new connections.
Whether you are currently using vehicle tracking, connected dashcams, 360° camera systems, asset trackers or onboard weighing, CVS can assess your existing contracts with the goal of helping lower future costs.
