DSOC, a thriving Doncaster-based NSI Gold remote monitoring station, is proud to commemorate its 5th anniversary on 27 February 2025.
Founded just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company has experienced remarkable growth despite its early challenges.
Start-up businesses face daunting odds, with statistics suggesting that approximately 20% fail within their first year and around 50% go under within five years. DSOC's resilience exemplifies the determination and vision that continue to drive its success.
In the early days of the pandemic, a four-person team powered DSOC's 24/7 operations. Their dedication remains a source of inspiration, and their contributions have not gone unnoticed. Three of these dedicated individuals now serve as integral members of the DSOC management team.
Today, the local workforce has expanded to nearly 20 employees, proudly monitoring hundreds of sites across the UK and responding to over one million activations in 2024. As they continue to grow week by week, DSOC maintains its commitment to upholding the highest standards of excellence within the security industry.
Managing Director Rob Dovey stated, “The ongoing success of DSOC can be attributed to the efforts of the DSOC Team and the trust that our customers place in their services. As the company celebrates this significant milestone, DSOC remains focused on strengthening its position within the security industry and maintaining a culture of innovation, developing our people, and delivering a fantastic service. Here's to the next five years and beyond!”
