Insider has opened entries for its flagship Made in Yorkshire Awards.

Inviting submissions from manufacturing businesses across Yorkshire and the Humber, the awards dinner celebrates the success and achievements of the manufacturing sector and the talented workforces they employ.

Taking place on Thursday 6 March 2025 at New Dock Hall, Royal Armouries in Leeds, the event is sponsored by BDO, Mills & Reeve, Rathbones and UPS Supply Chain Solutions. The winners will go on to compete against other regions at the Made in the UK Awards 2025 grand final. 

Entries are sought in 11 categories:

  • Digital Technology
  • Manufacturing Innovation
  • Export
  • Food and Drink
  • Sustainable / Ethical Manufacturer
  • Future Talent
  • Apprentice of the Year
  • Medical, Life Sciences and Healthcare
  • Manufacturing Start-up
  • Manufacturer of the Year (under £25m)
  • Manufacturer of the Year (over £25m)

The deadline for submissions is Thursday 12 December 2024. 

An independent panel of expert judges will scrutinise and assess the entry submissions and will determine the shortlisted companies and individuals for each category.
