Heart of Doncaster Awards return for 2024

Taking place on Friday 11 October, friends of the Foundation, businesses, individuals and award nominees will be welcomed to the Eco-Power Stadium, for an evening of celebration and reflection of the incredible people, partners and businesses across the city.

After the success of last year, the highly anticipated Foundation event, gives the opportunity to shine a light on individuals and groups achievements through a variety of awards, that play an incredible part on the impact of the city of Doncaster and it’s community.

 

Choose Kindness sponsors this year's Heart of Doncaster Awards

This year there will be a Choose Kindness Award for each of the City of Doncaster locality areas to recognise acts of kindness across our communities and those responsible for them.

If you know of an individual, business, school or community group in Doncaster who have demonstrated kindness to others, their local communities or the environment, please take some time to nominate them and tell us about what they have done.

More information about the Choose Kindness Award and the other Heart of Doncaster award categories, and how to make a nomination can be found through the nomination form.

Any nominations must reflect the period of 1 September 2023 - 31 July 2024. The deadline for nominations is Friday 30 August.

 

Speaking of the upcoming event, Fundraising & Event’s Officer, Phoebe Sneddon said: “I'm really looking forward to the Heart of Doncaster Awards 2024. 

“It's a fantastic evening celebrating and recognising incredible individuals in and around the City of Doncaster. Last year, we heard some incredible stories and celebrated the achievements of those deserving of the awards and we can’t wait to be able to do the same this year. 

“We’ve got a couple of new awards too, which we believe will showcase even more people from the local community, those unsung heroes who have an impact on numerous lives within Doncaster.
