ADACT Medical is a front runner in health-related fields providing insight into the evolving landscape such as botanicals, like mushrooms to vaping. In fact, vaping has emerged as a significant player in smoking cessation strategies, however the company’s dedication to supporting the vaping industry and smoking cessation efforts goes beyond regulatory compliance. The introduction of the Vape Safe trademark in 2019 is a testament to their commitment to product safety and consumer trust whilst they continue to lead in providing comprehensive regulatory and analytical services, ensuring products meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

As a leader in regulatory compliance and scientific analysis in Europe, ADACT Medical continues to transform health and wellness landscapes, delivering innovative research and regulatory insights across the health sector.

Their analytical laboratory testing is one of the quickest and finest in the country, but there was one piece of equipment that was missing to enable them to stay ahead of the game, retain existing clients and attract new ones.

Business Doncaster assessed the business need and were able to support with an initial grant that enabled them to purchase the equipment that would streamline their data capture to visualise key performance indicators and a copier.

In addition, a further grant enabled them to purchase three new laboratory instruments to help optimise workflows, improve productivity, take on new clients and grow the team as a result.

The investment has been backed by a Business Productivity Grant, delivered by Business Doncaster, and supported by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA); part-funded by the government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

With the support from Business Doncaster the business is continuing to build upon their success by purchasing new machinery that has allowed them to increase their offer, take on new clients and grow the team as a result.

Glyn Jones, Deputy Mayor and Cabinet Member for Housing and Business said: “the Productivity and Digitalisation Grant aims to support and drive economic growth across the borough. Business Doncaster helped to identify a key piece of equipment that the business would benefit from, and I am delighted to see ADACT Medical now benefitting from the support we have been able to provide. The funding is just one of the many business support services we provide as a Council to assist local businesses to grow and develop.”

ADACT Medical is constantly evolving and continuously looking to innovate and grow their business further into regulatory and analytical capabilities in the herbal and food supplements arena.
