Online Bathroom Retailer Victoria Plum Named Best Large Business at Yorkshire Business Masters Awards 2021

The annual awards dinner, which is run by The Business Desk, serves to recognise the outstanding achievements of businesses from across Yorkshire.
 
The award follows a stellar year for the online bathroom retailer, which saw it post a record 46 per cent increase in sales to £103m while EBITDA also rose 115 per cent to £4.5m. During the same period, the company increased its headcount from 349 to 398.

Victoria Plum was acquired by Endless in 2019 and has since undertaken a successful business transformation strategy led by Paul McClenaghan and his senior management team.
 
In response to the challenges of the pandemic, the business adopted a hybrid working model and transformed its offices into collaborative hubs where colleagues can meet to work together.
 
The Doncaster company has also partnered with JUST ONE Tree, a non-profit initiative working to remove CO2 from the atmosphere and reverse biodiversity loss through global reforestation.

As part of this partnership, the business will plant thousands of trees around the world over the next 12 months.
