Park Electrical branches out to new Doncaster store opening

Park Electrical Distributors has over 30 years of experience and expertise in the wholesale industry. As the largest privately-owned wholesaler in the Northeast, they are now broadening their horizons to continue the company’s forward momentum and are excited to announce the opening of their newest branch in Doncaster, Yorkshire.

The new store is based at 1, Radiance Road, Wheatley Hall Road.

With an adaptive and forward-thinking company ethos they ensure they meet customer needs in every aspect of electrical wholesale, renewables, lighting design, supply, and solution-based services.

“We’ve had our eye on expanding into Yorkshire and beyond for some time, but we knew doing so would take considerable investment and a degree of directional change,” said Nick Hobson, Branch Manager “Our success in the North-East has put us in a position that allows us to step outside of our native territory and embark upon an ambitious Yorkshire growth plan.” 

“As well as our long-standing lighting design department, which has been a great USP for many years, we’ve now added our latest point of difference: our modular solutions division, which offers offsite fabrication solutions and specialist component assembly across the industry.”  

All these latest innovations have made it possible for Park Electrical to move into Yorkshire in a confident and assertive manner, backed up by a fully supportive supply chain. At the same time, the company has been careful to get the staffing right too, as to succeed in any new geographical territory it is crucial to recruit personnel with local knowledge, expertise, and experience.  

Choosing Doncaster as the next site location was an obvious next step. It is ideal for servicing nearby towns and cities, with good links into the likes of Leeds, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham, and Hull, as well as superb connectivity to the A1/M18/M62 motorway network. What’s more, Doncaster itself has a strong manufacturing base to go at too.
